Priorities, Vision, and Experience

What priorities and vision do you have for the office of Colorado State Representative, and how would your personal and professional experience contribute to that?

Representing Colorado citizens is the number one priority. Coloradans want to know why they are being priced out of life’s necessities. Democrat ideologic legislation doubled our state budget in just over a decade, increasing state tax spending from $20+ Billion to now over $40 Billion, increasing citizen tax burden. Citizens (regardless of party affiliation) suffer legislative spending. Legislation resulting in increased fees (2500% increase over 15 years) threaten family sustainment. Democrat-led Acts which include tax and fees increases are an attempt to circumvent Coloradans Taxpayer Bill of Rights (TABOR). I will oppose burdening tax and fee increases. My professional and personal experiences ready me to collaborate and support disciplined approaches that keep government out of the pockets of its citizens.

Accountability

Colorado's Sunshine Law and Taxpayer Bill of Rights are examples of accountability measures that Colorado's electorate voted into law. What are your beliefs on ethics in government, and how would you seek to improve accountability and transparency as they relate to the office of Colorado State Representative?

Colorado citizens deserve ethical and accountable representation. Citizens want accountability and spending discipline and legislation that lowers cost of living. They deserve transparency and fiduciary care of their precious dollars as they skimp and scratch to make ends meet. Legislators must oppose costly ideologically-driven legislation and uphold Taxpayer's Bill of Rights. I will support and emphasize sunsetting clause(s) to end/minimize forever spending. This include legislative efforts that pass costs and burden local municipalities, cities and communities through a fees approach. There is no accountability mechanism which informs citizens about tax expenditures. Each bureaucratic department must report expenditures and the public must have access to the annual audits.

1st Amendment

What are your thoughts on the establishment clause; and if elected, what will you do to protect your constituents' rights to freedom of religion, speech, peaceable assembly, and petitioning the government for a redress of grievances?

I support the full Bill of Rights to include freedom of speech, press, exercise of religion & the right to petition. For example, due to Colorado high crime rate - which rose 26% between 2011-2023 - thousands of citizens brought forward Proposition 128 as a ballot measure to which CO citizens approved 62% to impose stricter consequences on violent crime offenders. This should have been a hint to Legislators that Colorado citizens want legislation that impose stricter punishments on violent offenders. Instead, in 2026 Democrats attempted to decriminalize mass shooting. The CO Democrats strive to stifle their constituent transparency and minimize time for debate so that citizen grievances are not heard. I will oppose any effort to mute citizen rights.

2nd Amendment

In light of recent Colorado legislation and US Supreme Court's rulings regarding our nation's historical tradition of firearms regulation, what steps would you take to protect the rights of the people while addressing gun violence?

Calling a pig in a wig anything but a pig is conveying willingness to undermine and enact unjust legislation. Utilizing illogical terms to undermine law-abiding citizens such as injecting ‘gun violence’ into legislative efforts is an example of unjust legislation because the intent is to undermine law-abiding citizens. Further, history’s evidence reveals that there is only one reason to disarm law-abiding citizens and that is to exert tyranny upon them. The Constitution is the Peoples Law, proclaiming God-given rights that are to be protected by the 'government'. Colorado legislators should not overwrite these laws. I will fight to protect ‘people of a free state’ in respect of the Constitution’s intent to assure the right to arms ‘shall not be abridged’.

Anti-Americanism and Antisemitism

There has been a rise in incidences of anti-Americanism and antisemitism in Colorado and across our nation. What do you view as the causes, and what should be done to address these issues?

Social normalization is an intended process to embed behavior and to make that behavior acceptable. The fact that anti-Americanism and antisemitism is on the rise is evidence that there is a concerted effort (not by accident) to nullify the American melting pot theory which asserts that our unity is the foundation to Pro-Americanism equality. Legislation can support County-level governing bodies to collaborate with their local institutes to develop best suited solutions to to invigorate Americanism and alleviate opportunities for antisemitism. Local bodies know and will match to threats and organizations to mechanize that promote Americanism. Legislative overreach should not include adding bureaucracies (further bloating government bodies), promoting regulation, or adding costs (unfunded mandates) that burden local cities and counties.

Economy and Resources

If elected, what initiatives would you champion to improve Colorado's economy, including policies on water, energy, and other resources, and how would you make your office more fiscally responsible?

Colorado is natural energy resource heavy. The Democrat war on the abundant natural resources increased Coloradan energy costs unnecessarily, passing the cost of alternate energy to Colorado families. I will champion legislation to lower family energy costs through common sense access to natural energy resources that improve household to business' economy. The Democrat-ruled state didn't respect agriculture and beef producers. I will listen to rural private landowners and promote free enterprise that strengthens Colorado's economy. The Governor failed to establish a long-term water flow plan, instead the plan includes water deals to his home state, California and Arizona. Reversal of harmful ideology-based legislation. All Coloradans deserve to know that conservative responsibility is the foundation from which I will serve.

Education

If elected, how would you help improve the educational outcomes for Colorado's students, and what is your position on parental authority in K-12 education, including school choice and parental notification?

I am pro-school choice and pro-parent. School choice supports the parent role and authority as the primary decision-maker for their child(ren). I will oppose any legislative effort that serves to circumvent parental authority. It is essential to keep parents updated on their children's activities, challenges, progress, and all related issues in order to honor their parental authority. Education eventually serves to enhance the student contributions in society. Labor studies reveal the changing landscape of our developing society and the skill gaps that are foreseen to meet that development. Education programs that recognize and facilitate the student’s future set them apart from bare minimum required programs. I will support forward-looking, skill-building education programs.

Protecting the Most Vulnerable

If elected, how will you seek to protect the lives of the most vulnerable in our community, including the unborn, victims of trafficking and abuse, senior citizens, and those experiencing mental illness?

Colorado Democrat extreme ideologies result in aborting the unborn with no regard to the age of the life in the womb. The extreme legislation that permits this act for in state and out-of-state women, regardless of citizenship creates a monetary burden, as well. Those costs are passed on to many, like me, who are pro-life, again with no regard. Mental illness and elderly abuse are consequential, and remedies are available through local-level governance. Human trafficking is increased primarily in sanctuary cities and states like Colorado with leftist legislators that work diligently to lower Human trafficking penalties. I will oppose all legislative efforts to fund or support abortion in any form and will support legislation that increases penalties for human trafficking.

Public Safety and Rule of Law

What are your priorities for addressing crime in Colorado, including issues such as cybercrime and the slavery of human trafficking, and how do you view the role of state policy in addressing immigration-related challenges and coordination with federal authorities? Also, what is your opinion regarding sanctuary city (or county) policies?

Colorado crime rates continue to climb due to the lessening of crime penalties. This is known as decriminalizing. Without regard to pleas from law enforcement and judicial leaders whom arrive to the capital to relay the impact of decriminalization legislation, the Democrats continue to pass laws that support criminals and revictimize victims. My priority to address rising crime in Colorado is to oppose all decriminalization legislation. This includes increasing consequences for cybersecurity and human trafficking. Human trafficking is so injurious that anti-human trafficking legislation must deliver harsh consequences. I am pro-Constitution which stipulates the proper method to attain citizenship. I do not support city, county or state sanctuary status.

Election Integrity

Do you believe that elections should be conducted differently in order to ensure integrity and confidence? Should people be required to show proof of citizenship in order to register to vote, and/or be required to show a Government-issued ID to cast their vote?

The right to vote is a treasured citizen’s right. Laws that support strict integrity standards and severe consequences for breaking voting laws are important to citizen confidence in election results. Coloradans are invited to be familiar with the lates voter law, SB25-001, Colorado Voting Rights Act. The Act signed into law in May 2025, is extensive. Among the articles is an article that prohibits enforcing voter qualification … based on an individual’s actual or perceived gender expression. This speaks to proof of identity and prohibits other eligibility qualification. This Act loosened identity standard. I oppose legislation that does not tighten voter eligibility qualifications and do support the show of government issued identification to exercise the right to vote.

Constitutional Compatibility

Many Christians are concerned about ideologies that place the state, the collective, or religious law above individual liberty and limited constitutional government. Do you believe socialism, communism, or political movements seeking to impose religious law — including Islamic Sharia law — are compatible with America's constitutional representative democracy? Why or why not?

There are some who deny the role of Christianity in our nation and the U.S. Constitution. I am of the opposite studied mindset. The United States, as a 'Christian Nation" unified the founding fathers to draft a national Constitution that elevates God over man, rights as God-given, and stress equality of all men (all men are created equal, endowed by their Creator). The American spirit is nurtured and individual freedom (away from tyranny of a state) is emphasized in the Declaration of Independence. An 'imposed religion' defies the very first Amendment in the Bill of Rights and thus, is not compatible with the United States Constitution. Additionally, the United States is not a Democracy, but rather a Republic nation.

Military background: United States Navy
Priorities, Vision, and Experience

What priorities and vision do you have for the office of Colorado State Representative, and how would your personal and professional experience contribute to that?

My vision as a representative is to provide honest, accountable, community-centered leadership that puts people before politics. My priorities include strengthening education, improving access to affordable healthcare, supporting veterans and military families, protecting public safety, addressing housing and affordability, supporting small businesses, and responsibly managing Colorado’s growth and natural resources. As a Navy veteran, I learned leadership, teamwork, accountability, and the responsibility of serving something greater than myself. My professional experience working with veterans and in public service has strengthened my understanding of the challenges families face navigating complex systems. As a doctoral student in Health Psychology, my research has further developed my commitment to evidence-based decision-making. I will bring service, compassion, integrity, and practical problem-solving to the legislature.

Ethics in government begins with honesty, integrity, transparency, and accountability to the people we are elected to serve. Public office is a public trust. Elected officials must be responsible stewards of taxpayer dollars and respectful of the law that voters enact. As a State Representative, I would support open meetings, accessible public records, clear disclosure of conflicts of interest, and greater transparency regarding legislation and state spending. I would communicate regularly with constituents about my votes and the reasoning behind them, while creating meaningful opportunities for public input. I also believe accountability requires listening to taxpayers before making decisions that affect their families and communities. Coloradans deserve representatives who are accessible, ethical, transparent, and willing to answer for their decisions.

1st Amendment

What are your thoughts on the establishment clause; and if elected, what will you do to protect your constituents' rights to freedom of religion, speech, peaceable assembly, and petitioning the government for a redress of grievances?

The Establishment Clause protects both religious liberty and the principle that government should not establish, favor, or impose a religion. People must remain free to practice their faith, change their faith, or practice no religion without government interference or discrimination. As a representative, I would uphold First Amendment rights of every constituent, regardless of political viewpoint, faith, or background. I would protect freedom of speech, peaceful assembly, and the right of citizens to petition their government and hold elected officials accountable. I would also work to ensure that constituents have meaningful access to my office, hold public meetings, community forums, and maintain direct communication. Constitutional rights belong to everyone, and protecting those freedoms is a fundamental responsibility of public service.

2nd Amendment

In light of recent Colorado legislation and US Supreme Court's rulings regarding our nation's historical tradition of firearms regulation, what steps would you take to protect the rights of the people while addressing gun violence?

Protecting constitutional rights and addressing gun violence are responsibilities that must be pursued together. The individual right to keep and bear arms, and believe firearm legislation must comply with the Second Amendment and current Supreme Court precedent. Responsible public safety measures prevent firearms from reaching individuals who pose a demonstrated danger to themselves or others. I support due process, responsible firearm storage, suicide-prevention education, enforcement against illegal firearm trafficking, and appropriate training/safety education. As a veteran with firearms training, I understand both the rights and serious responsibilities associated with firearm ownership. I will evaluate legislation individually, considering constitutionality, evidence of effectiveness, due-process protections, and its impact on law-abiding Coloradans while working to reduce suicide, domestic violence, and preventable gun deaths.

Anti-Americanism and Antisemitism

There has been a rise in incidences of anti-Americanism and antisemitism in Colorado and across our nation. What do you view as the causes, and what should be done to address these issues?

The rise in antisemitism/hostility toward our country is fueled by several factors, including political polarization, misinformation, extremism, and rhetoric that increasingly treats people with different beliefs as enemies rather than neighbors. Antisemitism must be condemned unequivocally. We should reject hatred or discrimination directed at any religious, racial, or ethnic community. At the same time, protecting free speech means recognizing that criticism of government policy, including U.S. or Israeli policy, is not automatically hatred or antisemitism. I deeply value our country and the constitutional freedoms I served to defend. I will support education, community dialogue, enforcement of laws against threats/violence, religious liberty, and strong protections for peaceful speech and assembly. We must confront hatred without sacrificing the constitutional freedoms defining America.

Economy and Resources

If elected, what initiatives would you champion to improve Colorado's economy, including policies on water, energy, and other resources, and how would you make your office more fiscally responsible?

I will champion policies that strengthen Colorado’s economy by supporting small businesses, workforce development, affordable housing, and responsible infrastructure investment. Water is essential to our future, and I will prioritize conservation, protection of drinking water and aquifers, agricultural needs, and long-term planning as our population grows. I support a balanced approach to energy that advances cleaner technologies while protecting reliability and keeping costs affordable for families and businesses. Colorado needs to manage its land and natural resources responsibly without sacrificing economic opportunity or future generations. Fiscal responsibility means carefully evaluating spending, eliminating unnecessary costs, demanding measurable results, and being transparent about how taxpayer dollars are used. Every expenditure needs a clear public purpose, and taxpayers deserve accountability for the results.

Education

If elected, how would you help improve the educational outcomes for Colorado's students, and what is your position on parental authority in K-12 education, including school choice and parental notification?

Improving educational outcomes begins with ensuring every student has access to a safe, high-quality education, regardless of zip code/family income. Prioritizing strong literacy/math foundations/teacher support/ career and technical education, mental/behavioral health resources/ transparency in using public funds. Parents are the primary advocates for their children and deserve meaningful access to curriculum info, academic progress, school policies, and appropriate notification regarding matters affecting the child. Teachers also need a meaningful voice in educational policy, curriculum implementation, classroom decisions, and resources necessary to help students succeed. I support educational options that meet students’ individual needs while requiring accountability and transparency for public funds. Parents, teachers, and schools are partners, keeping student achievement, safety, long-term success at the center of educational decisions.

Protecting the Most Vulnerable

If elected, how will you seek to protect the lives of the most vulnerable in our community, including the unborn, victims of trafficking and abuse, senior citizens, and those experiencing mental illness?

One of our government’s most important responsibilities is protecting the vulnerable from exploitation, violence, neglect, or circumstances beyond their control. I value human life, including unborn life, while recognizing that pregnancy involves deeply personal and complex medical circumstances that require compassion for women and families. I will work to reduce unintended pregnancies and support mothers and children through access to healthcare, prenatal care, adoption resources, childcare, and economic support. I would strengthen efforts to prevent human trafficking/abuse, protect victims, and hold offenders accountable. I will also advocate for seniors through quality healthcare, safe/accountable long-term and home care, and protections against exploitation. For Coloradans experiencing mental illness, I support accessible treatment, crisis intervention, suicide prevention, and community-based services that preserve dignity.

My public safety priorities include combating violent crime, human trafficking, cybercrime, domestic violence, and crimes targeting vulnerable Coloradans. I support providing law enforcement with appropriate resources, training, technology, & coordination while protecting constitutional rights. Immigration is a federal responsibility, but Colorado must address its effects on public safety & communities. I support lawful immigration, cooperation among state, local, and federal authorities when serious criminal activity or legitimate public-safety threats are involved, with appropriate due process. Regarding sanctuary policies, public safety should guide our approach. Local governments should not obstruct lawful investigations involving dangerous offenders, but residents should not fear reporting crimes, serving as witnesses, or seeking emergency assistance. Policy should distinguish genuine public-safety threats from law-abiding immigrant families in communities.

Election Integrity

Do you believe that elections should be conducted differently in order to ensure integrity and confidence? Should people be required to show proof of citizenship in order to register to vote, and/or be required to show a Government-issued ID to cast their vote?

I believe every eligible citizen should be able to vote and have confidence that every lawful vote is counted accurately. Election integrity requires secure voting systems, accurate voter rolls, transparent procedures, bipartisan oversight, meaningful audits, and penalties for fraud/interference. Verifying that individuals registering to vote meet citizenship and eligibility requirements, provided the process does not create unreasonable barriers for eligible voters. I support reasonable identification requirements when acceptable forms of identification are readily accessible, and alternatives exist for voters who lack traditional government-issued photo identification. Election policy should protect both security and access. Safeguards should be evidence-based, transparent, consistently applied, and respectful of every eligible citizen’s right to vote while maintaining public confidence in the integrity of our elections.

America is a constitutional republic. Our Constitution must remain the supreme foundation of government. Systems that subordinate individual rights to unchecked state power, eliminate fundamental liberties/replace constitutional law with religious law are incompatible with our constitutional principles. History demonstrates the dangers of authoritarian communist regimes that have denied freedom of speech, religion, property, due process, and political participation. Islamic Sharia law, or the religious law of any faith, cannot supersede the U.S./Colorado Constitution or be imposed by government. Our Constitution protects Americans’ freedom to hold political beliefs and practice their religion peacefully. Defending our constitutional republic, individual liberty, religious freedom, private property, due process, and equal protection while opposing efforts to replace constitutional government with authoritarian or theocratic rule.

Christian voting

Voting is a simple, yet significant way to do something about public policy in our country. As people of faith, we will be held accountable for our actions, as well as our lack of action. (Luke 12:48)

Biblical worldview

By diligently learning, applying, and trusting God’s truths in every area of our lives, we can begin to develop a deep comprehensive faith that will stand against the unrelenting tide of our culture’s non-biblical ideas.

Vote your values

The issues of the day change. Political parties and platforms change. God’s Word never changes. The vote of every Christian should be based on the principles of Scripture and not persuasive personalities.

Electing righteous leaders

Bad governance and our loss of freedom is the direct result of the church’s failure to disciple. When the citizenry do not seek to be obedient to God’s Law, they vote in wicked and corrupt candidates, who then trample underfoot the God-given liberties of the people.
